Description
Upgrade the rear suspension of your lifted 1976-1986 Jeep CJ with BDS Glide-Ride rear leaf springs for improved handling through any conditions. These rear leaf springs will provide a 2.5-inch lift height over stock springs. Perfect for hitting the trails, towing a heavy load, or just daily driving.
BDS Glide-Ride Leaf Springs
Built to outperform, BDS engineered the Glide-Ride leaf springs into a multi-leaf progressive spring rate design that provides a smooth ride with any load. This is accomplished with an exclusive triple-stage leaf spring design where the main leaf pack is broken into two stages:
- First, the primary three leafs are functional with no additional load in the vehicle for excellent everyday ride quality. As moderate loads are applied, the secondary leafs are engaged.
- Second, if the truck is fully loaded, the bottom overload is engaged for maximum hauling capacity. This setup allows your truck to maintain ride quality unloaded without sacrificing payload.
Upgrading to BDS Glide-Ride leaf springs will reduce axle wrap and provide flexibility throughout the suspension cycle. Bushings are required and must be purchased separately.
Note: BDS leaf springs are not intended for use beyond the truck's maximum payload capacity. If heavy payload use is desired, supplemental rear air bags are recommended.
